Hey lovely— I’m Camelle.
And I created Barre Fitness with Camelle for one reason:
Because I was that woman whispering, “I just want to feel like me again.”
Years ago, after my health collapsed right before a major performance, I lost trust in my body.
I avoided movement. I burnt out. I tried all the “right” things… and still felt stuck.
Then Barre found me—not the ballerina kind, the real kind.
The kind that reminded me what strength feels like without pressure.
The kind that made me feel like my body and soul were finally on the same team.
Since then, I’ve taught hundreds of women how to return to themselves through smart, soulful movement.
Barre Fitness with Camelle is my love letter to every woman navigating perfectionism, pressure, and pain.
This isn’t just movement.
It’s meaningful. It’s rebellious. It’s reclaiming your spark.

Do I need any experience?
None at all. We start at the very beginning and build gently from there.
What should I wear?
Anything you feel comfy moving in — leggings and a tee are perfect. Layers are good to keep you comfortable as we warm up.
Where are classes held?
Group Classes: Jazz Time Studio, 44 Mersey Street, Invercargill, New Zealand 9810.
Privates: My home studio in Grasmere, Invercargill, New Zealand.
Online Live: Google Meet. You don't need a subscription or Google account.
Do I need ballet shoes?
Grip socks or bare feet are perfectly fine. For dance classes bring shoes if you have them.
How many spots are there?
Only 12. So you’ll always get personal support and guidance.
