Barre Fitness with Camelle

Terms & Conditions & Participation Agreement

Updated February 2026

By booking, purchasing, or attending classes with Barre Fitness with Camelle and Barre with Camelle (“BFWC”, “BWC”, “we”, “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to all services provided by BFWC, including group classes, memberships, private sessions, workshops, and coaching programs unless otherwise stated.

1. Memberships & Pricing

BFWC operates primarily on a membership and block-based booking system designed to provide consistency, progress, and fair access to limited class spaces.

Current Offer Availability

Not all services described in these Terms & Conditions may be available at all times.

Barre Fitness with Camelle may introduce, modify, rename, or retire memberships, packages, or programs during business development phases. Applicable terms apply only once a service is offered for purchase or enrolment.

Membership Options

Bronze Membership — $119/month

  • 1 class per week

  • Equivalent to $27.50 per class

Silver Membership — $216/month

  • 2 classes per week

  • Equivalent to $25 per class

Gold Membership — $293/month

  • 3 classes per week

  • Equivalent to $22.50 per class

Membership pricing reflects commitment to consistent attendance and reserved class placement.

Other Pricing

  • Drop-in class: $35

  • 4-week block: $120

Prices may be updated periodically with notice.

2. How Membership Booking Works

Memberships reserve weekly class spaces within structured 4-week training blocks.

Members must manually book into the first class of each desired class stream at the start of a block.

Once booked:

  • You are automatically enrolled into the same weekly class for the full 4-week block.

  • Your class time remains reserved for that block.

If attending multiple streams (e.g. Barre, Ballet, Reclaim), the first session of each stream must be booked separately.

This structure supports consistent progression and fair access to limited class capacity.

3. Minimum Commitment

All memberships include an 8-week minimum commitment (two consecutive 4-week blocks).

After this period, memberships may be paused or cancelled with written notice prior to the next billing cycle.

4. Booking & Class Access

  • All classes must be booked in advance.

  • Walk-ins are not guaranteed entry.

  • Members receive priority booking access.

  • Class sizes are limited for safety and quality.

5. Attendance, Late Cancels & Missed Classes

  • Classes must be cancelled prior to their scheduled start time.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows are forfeited.

  • No refunds, credits, or rollovers are provided for missed sessions.

Membership pricing assumes consistent attendance and reserved space allocation.

Where space allows, members may swap into another class within the same week. Swaps are not guaranteed.

6. Changing Classes or Streams

At the start of each new 4-week block, members may change class times or streams subject to availability.

Active members receive early booking access.

7. Waitlists

If a class is full:

  • You may join the waitlist.

  • You will be notified if a space becomes available.

  • Attendance is confirmed only once booked.

BFWC reserves the right to release reserved spaces where payment issues remain unresolved.

8. Payments & Failed Billing

Memberships are billed monthly and renew automatically until paused or cancelled.

If payment fails:

  • Your space will be held for 7 days.

  • After 7 days, your reserved spot may be released to the waitlist.

9. Pausing or Cancelling Membership

After the initial 8-week commitment:

  • Memberships may be paused or cancelled at any time.

  • Written notice must be provided before the next billing cycle.

Cancelling releases your reserved class space. Rejoining later does not guarantee availability in the same class.

10. Medical Pause

In cases of injury, illness, pregnancy, or medical circumstances preventing participation:

  • Memberships may be paused upon written request.

  • Reasonable supporting documentation may be requested.

  • The minimum commitment period is extended by the pause duration.

  • Pauses apply prospectively and are not backdated.

BFWC reserves discretion over pause approvals.

11. Drop-Ins & Guest Attendance

Drop-ins and trial classes are limited and subject to availability after member bookings.

All participants must agree to these Terms & Conditions prior to attending.

12. Private Sessions (Clinical Pilates, Dance & Barre)

BFWC offers private and small-group sessions including Clinical Pilates, Dance, Barre, and movement coaching (“Private Sessions”).

Booking & Payment

  • Private Sessions must be booked in advance.

  • Payment is required prior to or at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Packages or session blocks may have expiry periods specified at purchase.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a Private Session.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments are forfeited and non-refundable.

  • Exceptions may be considered at BFWC discretion in cases of illness or emergency.

Arrival & Session Time

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrival may reduce session duration to avoid impacting subsequent bookings.

Clinical & Educational Nature

Private Sessions may include movement education, rehabilitation-informed exercise, or technique coaching but do not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment, or physiotherapy services.

Participants remain responsible for seeking medical advice where appropriate.

Instructor Discretion

BFWC reserves the right to modify or discontinue exercises where participation is considered unsafe.

Progress & Continuity of Training

Private Sessions are designed as progressive movement training where outcomes are achieved through consistency over time rather than individual sessions.

Clients acknowledge that results depend on regular attendance, participation, and application of guidance between sessions.

BFWC may recommend session frequency, program progression, or follow-up blocks to support client goals; however, participation remains voluntary and self-directed.

Unused sessions within a purchased package do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

13. Health & Participation Responsibility

By attending classes, you confirm that:

  • You are physically able to participate in exercise.

  • You will inform the instructor of injuries, pregnancy, medical conditions, or limitations.

  • You accept responsibility for monitoring your own intensity and safety.

Instructors may modify or stop participation where safety concerns arise.

14. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Participation in movement classes involves inherent physical risk.

By attending, you acknowledge and accept:

  • Risk of injury, strain, or physical discomfort.

  • Responsibility for participating within personal limits.

To the fullest extent permitted under New Zealand law, Barre Fitness with Camelle and its instructors are not liable for injury, loss, or damages arising from participation except where required by law.

15. Studio Conduct

Participants agree to:

  • Arrive on time where possible.

  • Follow instructor guidance.

  • Respect other participants.

  • Maintain a supportive and safe environment.

BFWC reserves the right to refuse participation where behaviour compromises safety or community standards.

16. Timetable Changes

BFWC may modify class schedules, instructors, formats, or locations where required.

Reasonable notice will be provided where practicable. In circumstances outside our control, changes may occur with shorter notice.

No refunds or credits are provided due to timetable adjustments.

17. Acceptance

Booking or attending any class confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
