Each month in Invercargill I run two special adults dance classes designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you want to build strength, reconnect with your body, or finally try something you’ve always dreamed of.

It’s Never Too Late to Dance
Gentle, joyful ballet classes for adults in Invercargill — build strength, balance, and grace at your own pace, in a space that’s all encouragement, no intimidation.

Your Questions, Answered (FAQ)

Q: I’ve never done Dance before — will I be able to keep up?

A: Absolutely. Classes are designed so you can move at your own pace. No experience (or tutu) required.


Q: What if I can’t make every session?

A: You’ll get simple at-home options to keep you moving.


Q: Do I need to be flexible or fit to join?

A: Nope — we start where you are.


Q: What should I bring?

A: Comfy clothes, water, and a sweat towel. Shoes: if you have ballet or jazz shoes floating around bring them, otherwise, bare feet, socks and street shoes will work.

👋 Meet Camelle 

Hey lovely

I’m Camelle. And I created Barre Fitness with Camelle for one reason:

Because I was that woman whispering, “I just want to feel like me again.”

Years ago, after my health collapsed right before a major performance, I lost trust in my body.
I avoided movement. I burnt out. I tried all the “right” things… and still felt stuck.

Then Barre found me- not the ballerina kind, the real kind.
The kind that reminded me what strength feels like without pressure.
The kind that made me feel like my body and soul were finally on the same team.

Since then, I’ve taught hundreds of women how to return to themselves through smart, soulful movement.

Barre Fitness with Camelle is my love letter to every woman navigating perfectionism, pressure, and pain.
This isn’t just movement. It’s meaningful. It’s rebellious. It’s reclaiming your spark.
